About Us

The Sons of Liberty District was founded in 2003 and includes the following communities:

Arlington, Belmont, Cambridge, Charlestown, Chelsea, East Boston, Everett, Malden, Mefrod, Melrose, Revere, Somerville, Waltham and Watertown. 

Meetings

  • District Committee Meeting

    • 1st Thursday of every month (September - June)
    • 7:30 pm - 9:00 pm
    • Robert W. Healey Community Room: 125 6th St. Cambridge, MA

    • The monthly District Committee Meeting is for all District Officers, District Members-at-Large, District Operating Committee Chairs, and all Charterd Organization Representatives.
  • District Comissioners Meeting

    • 4th Tuesday of every month (September - June)
    • 7:30 pm - 9:00 pm
    • 4th floor conference room at the Robbins library: Arlington, MA
    • 700 Massachusetts Avenue, Arlington, MA 02476, US
    • Monthly Commissioners Meeting is an opportunity for the commissioner staff to review unit service, review upcoming roundtable plans, and accomplish training.
  • District Roundtable

    • 2nd Thursday of the Month
    • 7:30 - 9:00 pm 
    • Saint Joseph Social Center/School at 132 High St. in Medford               
    • Roundtables provide all Scout leaders the opportunity to share experiences and knowledge in a fun and enjoyable setting and provide you with the tools you need to run your den, pack, troop or crew meetings more easily and effectively. Scout leaders in your community come together monthly to exchange ideas, information, and enjoy fellowship with other Scouters. All are welcome.
