Join us at Lone Tree Scout Reservation for the combined training session of Introduction to Outdoor Leadership Skills (IOLS) and Outdoor Leader Skills for Webelos Leaders (OWL).

This hands-on program gives adult leaders the practical outdoor skills they need to lead Scouts in the out-of-doors. Uponcompletion, leaders should feel comfortable teaching Scouts the basic skills required to obtain the Webelos activity badges and the First Class rank. Along with Scoutmaster Specifics, the IOLS course is required of all direct-contact leaders registered in Boy Scout Troops and Varsity Scout Teams, in order to be considered "trained". The OWL course can be taught as a stand-alone experience, but is often presented in conjunction with IOLS due to overlap of content and skills taught. Scouting teaches youth to be the best they can be; this is an opportunity for you to be the best Scout leader you can be!

Training will be rain or shine, beginning Saturday at 8am and ending Sunday at noon.
