National Youth Leadership Training (NYLT) is an exciting, action-packed program designed to provide all 13- to 20-year-old youth members of the Boy Scouts of America, both male and female, with leadership skills and experience they can use in their home, units and in future endeavors.

Requirements: Scouts who attend NYLT should be at least 1st Class and have attended at least one week at a week long summer camp in the past.  Ages 13 - 20 year old members of the Boy Scouts of America, including Scouts and Venturers. (1st Class rank requirement is waived for new female Scouts in 2019)

20% off with the Adventure Card. Login into the cardholder's account with the User ID on the card and the discount will be applied.

Cancellation Policy
THE FOLLOWING POLICY APPLIES TO ALL DAY & RESIDENT CAMP PROGRAMS AT NEW ENGLAND BASE CAMP NOTE: $50 of all individual camp fees is non-refundable. REQUESTS FOR REFUND REQUIREMENTS 1. Requests for refunds must be submitted in writing to the Council Service Center The Spirit of Adventure Council, 600 West Cummings Park, Suite 2750, Woburn, MA 01801. 2. Refunds must include the Scout's name, Unit (if a participating scout), the camp session and an explanation for his or her absence. 3. Requests for refunds must be received by April 13th. Requests received AFTER April 13th will not be granted. 4. Refunds will be granted for illness or injury (a doctor's note may be requested) or a death in the immediate family. Other emergency situations may be considered at the discretion of the Council Program Director. 5. A attendee who becomes ill or injured during camp may receive a pro-rated refund as determined by the Council Program Director. 6. Refunds will not be granted for scheduling conflicts, no-shows, weather or behavioral issues. 7. Refunds will not be granted to attendees who leave camp by their own choice, or are asked to leave camp because of behavioral issues. 8. Summer camp registrations may be transferred to an alternate session, if space permits, without penalty. 9. Refunds will be made to the unit or individual who made the original payment.
