Join us for Winter Survival Day – Learn how to survive with the bare minimum. Utilizing what is in your surroundings, learn how to build a shelter, light a fire by friction, flint and steel, steel wool and a battery, anything but a match! Build useful camp gadgets out of what is laying around. Learn how to get clean water, make your own rope, and first aid challenges. Also, complete requirements toward First Class and the Wilderness Survival Merit Badge!

From 10:00am- 5:00pm the campground is open for exploring. Come and give Ice Climbing a try and then head over to the Sledding and Snurfing hill, challenge course, and the STEM or Music rooms. Be sure to save some time to go Ice Skating, indoor climbing and test your winter survival skills. Scouts can always earn merit badges while they enjoy camp!

Saturday fun begins at New England Base Camp.
