WINTER CAMP 2019

Grades 6-12

 

February 18th– February 22nd

Week-long Day Camp

 

 

 

 

 

Older Campers, boys and girls in the 6th through 12th grade, will choose a program themed around winter activities including some with overnights, day trips, certifications and merit badge earnings for scouts. Program choices are:

 

Winter Survival: Program involves Wilderness Survival Merit Badge, Cooking Merit badge,  CPR Certification,  Includes one overnight

 

Find Your Way: Program involves Orienteering Merit Badge, Geocache Merit Badge, CPR Certification

 

Snow Sports: Program involves Snow Sports Merit Badge,  Physical Fitness Merit Badge, Includes one day of skiing

 

First Aid: Program involves First Aid Merit Badge, Fire Safety Merit Badge, CPR Certification, Basic First Aid

 

Optional Extended Day Program- The Extended Day program provides programming and supervision to campers following the end of the camp day. With this option, parents can pick up campers anytime Monday-Thursday between 4-6 p.m. 

 

Optional Lunch Program- Campers who participate in the lunch program are provided with lunch including sandwich, fruit, chips, juice and dessert.

 

20% off for campers with the Adventure Card! The Card is part of all Cub Scout registrations in the Spirit of Adventure Council. Login with your Card-holder’s User ID.

Cancellation Policy
THE FOLLOWING POLICY APPLIES TO ALL DAY & RESIDENT CAMP PROGRAMS AT NEW ENGLAND BASE CAMP NOTE: $50 of all individual camp fees is non-refundable. REQUESTS FOR REFUND REQUIREMENTS 1. Requests for refunds must be submitted in writing to the Council Service Center The Spirit of Adventure Council, 600 West Cummings Park, Suite 2750, Woburn, MA 01801. 2. Refunds must include the Scout's name, Unit (if a participating scout), the camp session and an explanation for his or her absence. 3. Requests for refunds must be received by February 18th. Requests received AFTER February 18th will not be granted. 4. Refunds will be granted for illness or injury (a doctor's note may be requested) or a death in the immediate family. Other emergency situations may be considered at the discretion of the Council Program Director. 5. A attendee who becomes ill or injured during camp may receive a pro-rated refund as determined by the Council Program Director. 6. Refunds will not be granted for scheduling conflicts, no-shows, weather or behavioral issues. 7. Refunds will not be granted to attendees who leave camp by their own choice, or are asked to leave camp because of behavioral issues. 8. Summer camp registrations may be transferred to an alternate session, if space permits, without penalty. 9. Refunds will be made to the unit or individual who made the original payment.
