Remember the feeling you got while driving to camp when the car suddenly left the paved road and onto the dirt road leading to the entrance?  Every camp had it and, in just weeks, Camp Staff Alumni will experience that feeling once again and spend a weekend reliving memories of summers spent as a Camp Staff Member.

This event is for former staff members from any scout camp, especially those from camps historically part of Boston, Minuteman, or Yankee Clipper councils. This includes those who served on camp staff at Adams Pond, Wild Goose, Parker Mountain, Sachem, Quinipoxet, Loon Pond, Fellsland, Massasoit, Sayre, Indian Pond, Onway, Wah-Tut-Ca, or Lone Tree.

Your registration includes Saturday lunch, camp activities, the Lobster & Steak banquet, campfire, post-campfire deserts, and a commemorative Staff Alumni Weekend T-shirt.  It also includes overnight accommodations (camp tents) and Sunday morning continental breakfast for those who wish to stay.  Bring your family and share your memories with them.  There will be plenty of free time to get re-acquainted with old friends and meet new ones.  Pay tribute to this year’s camp staff for a job well done and see the awarding of the Tony Toto Spirit awards.

Walk the trails, see the weekly Saturday morning closing ceremony with the campers, swim at the waterfront or go fishing or boating, try the rifle or archery ranges and COPE course, and see the Scoutcraft and Nature areas.  In particular, enjoy the traditional lobster and steak banquet, and sing and laugh during the evening campfire.  Have fun and help preserve the traditions of summer camp.  See the improvements made through the hard work and generosity of the Camp Staff Alumni.

The Alumni Weekend also is a time to consider Alumni dues.  Although voluntary, we encourage you to add the dues fee to your registration.  Importantly, these funds are used to support program area “wish lists.”
