Patriots Day Hike

April 20th 2020

You are invited to the fourth annual Flintlock District Patriots Day Hike. This hike is an opportunity to join other scouts within the district for Patriots Day.  We will hike through from Lexington to Concord, watch the parade and see the cannon firing at the North Bridge. We hope you will join us for this exciting adventure.

We will watch Lexington reenactment (Please get there by 4:45am if you want a "viewable spot" to see the battle.) We will meet at the semi circular driveway in front of St. Brigid's on Mass Ave immediately after the reenactment. Every unit participating must have 2 adults hiking (or one parent if only one scout attending).                  Then, we will eat a pancake breakfast, see a parade, and watch cannons fired at the old north bridge.  Fee includes breakfast in Concord (St. B's Monument Hall).

Free parking (recommend pre-position of departure vehicles) at Emerson Playground, 261 Thoreau St. Concord.  There is also an optional trail patch or medal.
