T.L. Storer Winter Camping Weekend

Jan. 10- 12 2020: Winter Sports 

Sign up as a unit for either tent site camping or cabin camping!

Adults and youth will register and indicate either tent site, $40 per participant or cabin, $52 per participant.

Scouts will participate in program that will be centered around this weekend theme:

Jan. 10-12 2020: Winter Sports

  • Snowshoeing 
  • Winter Cooking
  • Winter Olympics

Units will arrive Friday evening beginning at 7:00pm. Units should coordinate exact arrival time at the main parking lot directly with staff that evening.  Programs will begin Saturday morning at 10:00 am at the Wild Goose Lodge Building. All meals on Saturday and breakfast on Sunday are included. Units depart after breakfast on Sunday.

Cancellation Policy
THE FOLLOWING POLICY APPLIES TO ALL CAMP PROGRAMS AT THE NORTHERN NEXUS

NOTE: $50 of all individual summer fees is non-refundable.

REQUESTS FOR REFUND REQUIREMENTS

1. Requests for refunds must be submitted in writing via email or letter to the Council Service Center.

2. Refunds must include the camper's name, unit (if a participating scout), the camp session and an explanation for his or her absence.

3. Requests for refunds more than 90 days prior to the start of camp will be granted with the deduction of the $50 deposit.

4. AFTER 90 days prior to camp start date, refunds will only be granted for illness or injury (a doctor's note may be requested) or a death in the immediate family. Other emergency situations may be considered at the discretion of the Council Program Director.

5. An attendee who becomes ill or injured during camp may receive a pro-rated refund as determined by the Council Program Director.

6. Refunds will not be granted for scheduling conflicts, no-shows, weather or behavioral issues.

7. Refunds will not be granted to attendees who leave camp by their own choice or are asked to leave camp because of behavioral issues.

8. Camp registrations may be transferred to an alternate available session without penalty, up to two weeks prior to Camp start date.

9. Refunds will only be made to the Unit or Individual who made the original payment.
